Frame is reclaimed old-growth redwood timbers with ebony details, roof is cedar shakes, bench is a redwood root with a redwood burl slab top.

Frame is finished with an exterior varnish, the bench is finished with epoxy and varnish.

Pop-Up Classroom

Designed for the outdoor educational staff at the Exploratorium, this storage shed opens up into a public demonstration station.

Reclaimed redwood barn siding and timbers. Roof is reclaimed corrugated metal.
